Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, caring, and organised Live-In Rota Nanny to join a warm, welcoming family based in Kensington, London. The family is seeking a professional childcare candidate to become a valued member of their fully staffed household, providing dedicated care for their three younger children.
This is a traditional 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota position, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced household staff in a collaborative and supportive environment. The family employs a hands-on housekeeper and an additional nanny who provides weekday support with school runs, extracurricular activities, and the children's daily routines. The parents are also highly involved in their children's upbringing, particularly during weekends, making this a true team-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of three children aged 11 months, 5 years, and 7 years, with approximately 80% of the role focused on the family's baby. The two older children attend school during the day and enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities, requiring support before and after school.
A typical day begins with ensuring breakfast is prepared before the children leave for school. Once the older children have departed, the nanny's focus shifts to the baby, providing attentive care, organising stimulating developmental activities, encouraging learning through play, and maintaining established feeding and nap routines. During the afternoon, the nanny will occasionally collect one of the older children from school or an extracurricular activity whilst taking the baby for a walk, before returning home to oversee dinner and evening routines.
The household benefits from the support of a chef three times per week, therefore meal preparation is straightforward and generally involves reheating prepared meals and assembling simple accompaniments where required. The nanny will oversee the baby's bath and bedtime routine before assisting the younger school-aged children with their evening routine and ensuring everything is prepared for the following morning, including school bags, swimming kits, and other daily essentials.
The family is looking for a calm, proactive, flexible, and highly organised nanny who has excellent baby experience and enjoys working within a professional household team. This role would suit someone who naturally takes initiative whilst appreciating the support of experienced parents and household staff. The successful candidate should also be happy to accompany the family on trips during the children's school holidays. Travel is an essential part of the role and typically consists of trips lasting up to two weeks at a time.

Main duties of the Nanny:
- Providing attentive daily care for the family's 11-month-old baby.
- Preparing breakfast and assisting with the children's morning routine.
- Planning age-appropriate developmental and educational activities for the baby.
- Managing the baby's feeding, naps, walks, and daily routine.
- Collecting the younger children from school or extracurricular activities when required.
- Preparing, serving, or reheating nutritious meals for the children.
- Supervising dinner, bath, and bedtime routines.
- Keeping the children's bedrooms, play areas, clothing, and belongings organised.
- Preparing school bags, swimming kits, and activity bags for the following day.
- Working closely with the parents, housekeeper, and additional nanny to ensure the children's routines run smoothly.
- Promoting the children's safety, wellbeing, development, and happiness at all times.
Requirements for this Nanny job:
- Minimum of 5 years' professional nanny experience
- Proven experience caring for babies and toddlers
- Good spoken English essential
- Driving license advantageous
- Calm, nurturing, and professional approach to childcare
- Experience working within a fully staffed household preferred
- Flexible and willing to travel internationally
- At least two excellent, checkable references
- Valid right to work in the UK
