Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced, professional, and energetic Nanny/Governess to join a warm and welcoming family based in Kensington, London. The family is seeking a reliable and proactive childcare professional to assist with the care and development of their three children aged 4 years, 2 years, and 6 months.
This is a fully staffed household where the successful candidate will work alongside another full-time nanny and a full-time housekeeper. As such, the role is focused entirely on childcare and child-related responsibilities, with no housekeeping duties required.
The family is looking for a hands-on, active, and organised nanny who enjoys engaging with young children and supporting their development through educational activities, structured routines, and positive encouragement. The role would suit a candidate who is confident managing busy afternoon and evening schedules, coordinating extracurricular activities, and fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
A typical day will include caring for the youngest child during the afternoon, collecting the older children from nursery and school, supervising activities and play, supporting learning and development, preparing simple and nutritious meals for the children, and overseeing bath and bedtime routines. The children enjoy a variety of activities including music, sports, and French language tuition.

French language skills would be highly advantageous, although excellent English is essential.

Main duties of the Nanny / Governess:
- Providing attentive and professional care for three children aged 4 years, 2 years, and 6 months
- Assisting with school and nursery collections
- Organising age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Supporting early years learning and development
- Supervising homework and educational tasks
- Coordinating extracurricular activities, lessons, and playdates
- Preparing simple and nutritious meals for the children
- Managing children's dinner, bath, and bedtime routines
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and good manners
- Liaising effectively with parents and other household staff
- Supporting French language exposure where appropriate
- Maintaining children's schedules and routines
Requirements for this Nanny / Governess job:
- Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience
- Previous experience as a nanny, governess, or early years educator
- Excellent English
- Native French or fluent French is highly advantageous
- Energetic, active, and hands-on approach
- Reliable, organised, and proactive personality
- Experience working within a fully staffed household preferred
- Strong understanding of child development
- University degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field advantageous
- At least two excellent, checkable references
- Valid right to work in the UK
