Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised, and energetic Live-In Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based in Kensington, London. The family is seeking a professional childcare candidate to assist with the care and supervision of their children within a fully staffed household environment.
This position would suit a nanny who enjoys working as part of a team and thrives in a busy yet well-structured family setting. The household employs additional childcare professionals, including a dedicated nanny for the baby, and the parents remain highly involved in the children's daily routines, school commitments, and activities.
The primary focus of this role will be supporting the care of the family's four older children, aged 5, 7, 9, and 11. The eldest child is largely independent, while the younger children attend school and participate in various extracurricular activities. Responsibilities will include assisting with school preparations, supervising activities, preparing meals for the children, and helping to ensure that daily routines run smoothly.
The family is looking for a calm, flexible, and proactive candidate who can confidently manage childcare responsibilities whilst maintaining a positive and supportive environment. Whilst the role is primarily focused on the older children, occasional assistance with the baby may be required when additional support is needed by the parents or the baby's nanny.
The successful candidate will accompany the family on occasional trips within Europe and should be comfortable travelling when required. A confident driver would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential for the right candidate. Main duties of the Nanny:
- Assisting with the care and supervision of the children
- Preparing the children for school and daily activities
- Organising and supervising age-appropriate activities
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals for the children
- Assisting with school runs and extracurricular activities along with the parents
- Supporting homework and educational development when required
- Maintaining children's bedrooms, play areas, and belongings in an organised condition
- Providing occasional support with the baby when required
- Accompanying the family on travel within Europe
- Working closely with parents and other household staff
- Ensuring the children's safety, wellbeing, and happiness at all times
Requirements for this Nanny job:
- Minimum of 5 years' professional nanny experience
- Proven experience caring for babies and toddlers
- Good spoken English essential
- Driving license advantageous
- Russian language skills advantageous
- Calm, nurturing, and professional approach to childcare
- Experience working within a fully staffed household preferred
- Flexible and willing to travel internationally
- At least two excellent, checkable references
- Valid right to work in the UK
