An excellent opportunity has arisen for a caring and professional Temporary Live-Out Nanny to join a welcoming family in a lovely location. The position is available from 21st October until the end of November, providing vital child care support for two delightful young girls aged 2 and 4. The family is looking for a professional nanny who can ensure a smooth transition as the current nanny takes their holiday leave, and continue to provide exceptional care until the permanent nanny returns.

Situated in the picturesque Woodford area, this peaceful neighbourhood offers a family-friendly environment with access to excellent local amenities. The location is well-connected, with just a 10-minute walk to the nearest tube station or bus stop, ensuring ease of travel for the nanny if they choose the live out option. The area provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for children and both the girls nurseries are also a 10 minute walk from the family home.
We are seeking a professional, caring, and energetic Nanny who is confident, reliable, and enjoys working with children. The ideal candidate will be confident in working with children of this age group and will have relevant experience in similar roles. Good English language skills are essential, as the younger girls is starting to speak and the the older child is learning to read and the nanny will be expected to communicate clearly with the children, particularly during reading.
A driving licence would be a welcome advantage, and the family is prepared to provide a car for work-related travel if you are a confident and experienced driver. However, this is not essential. A flexible and reliable approach, combined with professionalism and a genuine passion for working with children, will be key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Picking up the children from school and nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engaging the 4-year-old in after-school activities such as reading and educational play, while providing attentive care for the 2-year-old after nursery.
- Preparing light meals for the children, ensuring they are well-fed and hydrated.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment in the children’s playroom and living areas.
- Organising and preparing the children’s clothing, nursery supplies, and any necessary items for their day-to-day activities, ensuring everything is in order.
- Assisting with bedtime routines, creating a calm and nurturing environment as the children wind down for the evening.
Minimal Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of Nanny experience
- Excellent, checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- Friendly, caring attitude with a love for children.
