This exclusive private estate is renowned for its tranquillity, elegant architecture, and exceptional natural surroundings. The couple are frequently visited by their grown-up children and young grandchildren, and as the husband works full time while the wife divides her time between two homes, they seek a professional who can confidently manage the property.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, discreet, and capable of working confidently on their own initiative.

Working as a Housekeeper Cook in a private family environment requires a versatile and detail-oriented approach. The position involves maintaining the household to an impeccable standard, ensuring all rooms are tidy and well-organised, linens and laundry are managed efficiently, and groceries are replenished as required. The successful applicant will be confident preparing occasional light lunches and liaising with tradespeople to ensure the smooth running of the home.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:

Full care and cleaning of a large, newly renovated five-bedroom property to a high standard.
Tidying and maintaining household organisation at all times.
Changing bed linens and towels, and ensuring all essentials are replenished.
Laundry and ironing, with careful attention to fabric care.
Managing grocery supplies and putting away shopping.
Running errands such as light grocery shopping and collecting flowers.
Liaising with external contractors and tradespeople as required.
Preparing occasional light lunches.
Ensuring a smooth-running, well-presented home at all times.

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:

Three or more years of private housekeeper cook experience
Two excellent checkable references
Conversational English
UK working permit
Driving licence and own car
