A warm, creative, and wonderfully international family based in the charming and sought-after neighbourhood of Muswell Hill in North London are seeking a talented, nurturing, and Spanish-speaking Nanny to join their household on a full-time, live-in basis. The family comprises two working parents — both of whom work within the creative industry — and two delightful children aged 4 and 11.
Muswell Hill is one of North London's most beloved residential neighbourhoods, known for its village-like atmosphere, beautiful green spaces, outstanding schools, and excellent transport connections into central London.
The role combines attentive childcare, language immersion, light household duties, and family meal preparation in a warm and relaxed home environment. The accommodation offered is a fully private two-storey apartment, located just a ten-minute walk from the family home. The apartment is a wonderful, established space that has been part of the family for fifteen years. The professional will have complete privacy in their own personal bedroom area upstairs, with full use of the property on evenings and weekends.

Job Details:
Type: Full-Time, Live-In, Permanent
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Language: Native or fluent Spanish essential, English required
Driving Licence: Required
Salary: £450-£550 per week (negotiable)
Accommodation: Fully private two-storey apartment (10 min away)

Duties Include:
- Daily school drop-off and collection, driving the children safely in the family's automatic car
- Providing attentive, nurturing childcare for children aged 4 and 11, maintaining a safe, structured, and stimulating daily routine
- Actively engaging with both children in Spanish throughout the day to foster natural bilingual development and language immersion
- Preparing nutritious, wholesome meals for the children and the family, taking into account that one child follows a pescatarian diet
- Grocery shopping and general household food preparation as required, with flexibility to meal prep for the week when needed
- Assisting with age-appropriate activities, homework support, and after-school engagements
- Light household duties to maintain a tidy and organised home environment
- Acting as a warm, consistent, and trusted presence for both children in the parents' absence
Minimal Requirements:
- 3+ years of private Nanny or Au Pair experience
- Checkable references
- Native or fully fluent Spanish speaker
- UK driving licence
- Valid UK work permit
- DBS check
- First Aid qualification preferred (training can be arranged if not currently held)
