Job Overview:
Perfect Household Staff is pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for a kind, experienced, and well-mannered nanny to join a professional and genuinely lovely family residing in the heart of Bratislava. This is a full-time, live-out position on a self-employed basis, commencing in mid-August or early September. The welcoming household consists of two working parents and their two children, aged 2 and 6, as well as a small, friendly dog. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound common sense, a positive, proactive attitude, and refined manners. For the right candidate, the family is prepared to consider covering reasonable relocation costs.
Bratislava offers a wonderful setting for work and leisure, with its excellent public transport network making daily commuting to the family home convenient and efficient. This role is ideal for a nanny who enjoys working as part of a team, as the successful candidate will collaborate closely with another professional nanny, sharing responsibilities and rotating shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
Working as a nanny in a private household is a rewarding and varied profession. The position requires a nurturing individual who will focus on the physical and emotional wellbeing of the children while ensuring their daily routines run smoothly. Duties include preparing nutritious meals for the children, school runs (car will be provided), helping the 6-year-old with homework, and organising stimulating age-appropriate activities. Occasional overnight care may be requested when the parents are travelling (not frequently), and the nanny may also be asked to accompany the family on holidays abroad. Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying up after meals or play) is also expected.

- Language: English (Italian or French would be a bonus)

Main Duties of the Full-Time Nanny:
- Provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 and 6
- Work collaboratively with a second nanny in a rotating shift pattern
- Assist with the 6-year-old’s homework and encourage educational development
- Prepare healthy, child-appropriate meals
- Carry out school runs and escort children to after-school activities (e.g., sports, music)
- Maintain cleanliness and order in children’s areas; tidy up after meals and play
- Stay overnight occasionally when parents are travelling (infrequent)
- Travel with the family on holidays when required
- Be comfortable around the family’s small dog
Minimal Requirements:
- Three or more years of relevant private nanny experience.
- Two excellent checkable references.
- Conversational English
- Driving license (bonus)
- Eligibility to work in EU
