Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a professional Full-Time Live-In Nanny to join a warm, welcoming and active family based in Heraklion area, Crete. The family consists of two principals and their two young children aged eight months and two years. Both parents are involved in the children’s upbringing; the mother is particularly hands-on and actively engaged in the children’s daily routines.

Heraklion offers an excellent lifestyle with easy access to beaches, countryside walks and outdoor activities, making it an ideal location for a nanny who enjoys an active, nature-focused environment and a high quality of life.

This position will suit a confident, energetic and proactive nanny with a strong personality who enjoys supporting children’s development in a hands-on and engaging way. The role involves shared care alongside the parents and includes all general nanny duties such as providing attentive, age-appropriate care, planning educational and creative activities, encouraging learning through play, supporting early language development and spending time outdoors. Screen time is minimal, therefore the nanny must be confident in organising arts and crafts, educational games and physical activities.

This is a full-time, live-in, permanent position working five days per week, approximately 50 hours per week, with flexibility required. The family travels frequently throughout the year, sometimes for short trips and sometimes for longer stays, and the nanny must be happy and confident travelling with them worldwide. All travel expenses are fully covered. The household is pet-friendly and includes two cats, as well as a gentle Great Pyrenees and a friendly Labradoodle, therefore the nanny must be comfortable working in a home with animals. The family offers formal employment and is willing to cover relocation costs for the right candidate. Non-smokers and non-vapers only will be considered.

As this is a live-in position, the family is offering excellent accommodation. The nanny will be provided with a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a small kitchenette and a separate entrance, ensuring a high level of privacy and personal space.
