Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a lovely opportunity for a kind, calm, and experienced English Speaking Nanny to join a welcoming private family in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, on the beautiful French Riviera. This welcoming family includes two adults, a 1.5-year-old child, and a nanny who is already part of the household. They are looking for a second nanny who truly loves early childhood development and excels at creating a warm, happy, and safe environment for a toddler.
This is a permanent, part-time, live-out position working Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 5:00pm, offering a consistent six-hour daily schedule and a good balance of professional and personal time. Working as a Nanny in this household involves caring for a 1,5 years old child, communicating exclusively in English, supporting the child's daily routine, and organising age-appropriate creative, educational, and active play. The role also includes potty training, taking the child outdoors for walks and play, keeping the child's room and play areas tidy, and working cooperatively with the family's second Nanny and other household staff. The position is available on either a formal employment or self-employed basis.
The successful Nanny will be warm, patient, emotionally steady, and genuinely interested in the child's development, with a calm and reassuring manner and excellent awareness of child safety. Fluent English at C1 level or above is essential, while Russian and French would be welcome additional languages and may be reflected in the salary offered. Previous professional childcare experience and strong references from previous families are essential. The family are looking for someone punctual, responsible, discreet, well presented, and comfortable following established household routines while also taking initiative with play and activities. As the family is unable to provide visa sponsorship, applicants must already hold the right to reside and work within the EU.

Main duties of the Part-Time Nanny:
- Communicating with the 1,5 years old child exclusively in English
- Organising age-appropriate educational, creative, and active games
- Providing a calm, engaging, and safe environment for play and development
- Supporting the child's daily routine and ensuring meals are offered at appropriate times
- Supervising meals and encouraging positive eating habits
- Supporting the child's toilet training and potty routine
- Taking the child to the park and providing regular outdoor activities
- Organising playdates and age-appropriate outings
- Tidying the child's bedroom, toys, and play areas after activities
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the areas used by the child during the working day
- Supporting the child's general wellbeing, comfort, and safety throughout the day
- Working collaboratively with the family's second Nanny and household staff
- Respecting the family's routines, preferences, privacy, and household guidelines
- Maintaining a discreet, professional, and positive approach at all times
- Using initiative to introduce engaging activities that support the child's development
Requirements for this Part-Time Nanny:
- Minimum of 3 years of private nanny experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proficient level of English
- Legal right to work in France
- Criminal Record Check
