Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for a professional and experienced Nanny to join a welcoming family based in Hyndland, Glasgow. This highly desirable residential area is known for its charming period properties, green spaces, and excellent local amenities, offering a pleasant and family-friendly environment. The family consists of two adults and two children, including a one-year-old boy who will be the primary focus of care.
The mother works from home, and the family is seeking a warm, attentive, and reliable Nanny with fluency in Italian, strong experience with babies, and a flexible approach to travel.
Working as a Nanny within a private household requires a nurturing, organised, and pro-active approach. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care and development of the one-year-old child, including establishing routines, supporting naps, preparing meals, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
The role also includes accompanying the family on regular travel, including one week per month in London and additional time spent at the family’s villa in the South of France. While the family employs a cleaner, the Nanny will focus exclusively on childcare duties and related responsibilities. Working Days: Five days per week
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, from 08:30 to 18:00
Language: Fluent Italian (essential), English

This position offers flexibility with both live-in and live-out options. For live-out candidates, the property is well located with convenient access to public transport, making it easily accessible for commuting professionals. For live-in candidates, the accommodation is very comfortable, with a private bedroom provided on the first floor and all utility bills covered.
Main duties of the Full-Time Nanny:
- Providing attentive and professional care for a one-year-old child.
- Establishing and maintaining daily routines, including naps and feeding schedules.
- Preparing healthy meals for the child in line with the family’s preferences.
- Organising stimulating, age-appropriate activities to support development.
- Taking the child to parks and outdoor activities to encourage physical and social development.
- Travelling with the family to London and internationally, including stays in the South of France.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment for the child.
- Communicating effectively with the parents, particularly the mother who works from home.
- Utilising fluency in Italian to support the child’s language development.
- Assisting with occasional driving duties if required, using a vehicle provided by the family.
Requirements for this Full-Time Nanny job:
- Three or more years of private nanny experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English, fluency in Italian
- UK working permit
