A HNW family with 2 lovely children, are searching for a professional and energetic Full Time Laundress to manage their luxury wardrobes and household drapery. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in working with HNW families. The residence is based in Mayfair, Greater London. We are looking for a professional laundress who knows how to use all relevant equipment for laundering and pressing of clothes. This equipment can include a mangle, rotary iron, steamer, and other devices.
Only the candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.
The domestic laundress will be expected to work 5 days per week alongside the other laundress, housekeepers and other household staff. The principals will only consider candidates who are highly attentive to detail, and who have extensive experience and expertise in working for discerning clients as well as a highly professional approach to attending the Principles' requirements.
Position Type: Live Out, Permanent, Full Time
Days: 5 days / Week (days off are flexible)
Hours: 9 am - 6 pm
Salary: 45,000 GBP Gross annually (Calculate your Salary)
Starting date: ASAP
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Sorting and sending out linens and clothing to dry cleaners and inventorying these items
- Washing, steaming, mending of clothing
- Ironing clothing and linens as needed
- Seasonal organisation of clothing and storing of clothing
- Care for household drapery, carpet and upholstery
- Proper care for Couture clothing
