Our new clients are looking for a professional and experienced Cook for a Private Care Home located in Nottingham, UK. The care home team would be happy to accept a kind, cheerful and empathetic person who other than performing their duties to a high standard will be willing to contribute to the warm and positive atmosphere.
All duties will be related to cooking and include planning menus, preparing family-style meals for a maximum of 45 people, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area, keeping kitchen pots, pans and work surfaces clean and in good condition. The duties will be partially shared with two other members of staff, therefore we are looking for a person who is comfortable and experienced in working as an integral part of a team.
Regarding the working hours, the management team are ready to discuss the schedule and the working hours with their perfect candidate to ensure they are convenient for both sides.

Duties:
- Family style cooking
- Planning menus
- Complying with all Hygiene, Health and Safety Legislation
- Keeping kitchen pots, pans and work surfaces clean and in good condition
- Managing stocks of groceries and kitchen essentials
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of similar experience in private households and care houses
- UK working permit
