Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented, and discreet Housekeeper to join a welcoming private household in Baildon, West Yorkshire. The family comprises two adults and two small dogs and is seeking a permanent Housekeeper who can provide consistent, high-quality cleaning and become a trusted long-term addition to their home. The family would particularly welcome someone with a keen eye for detail who is comfortable using eco-friendly cleaning products, especially with the dogs in mind.
This is a permanent, live-out position offering a minimum of five hours per week, with the potential to consider additional hours. The working days and start time are flexible and can be agreed with the successful candidate. Duties will focus primarily on cleaning and maintaining the home, with occasional laundry, ironing, and bed linen changes as required, allowing time for these tasks to be accommodated within the agreed hours. The role would also involve occasionally letting the dogs outside, although no specific pet-care duties are required. The anticipated start date is late November, and this position would suit a conscientious Housekeeper seeking a consistent, long-term arrangement within a friendly private household.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Cleaning and maintaining the home to a consistently high standard
- Cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, 1 bedroom, and living areas within a 2 floor house
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and wiping surfaces
- Maintaining a tidy and well-presented home
- Using eco-friendly cleaning products where appropriate
- Occasional laundry and ironing, as agreed with the family
- Changing bed linen as required
- Managing time effectively to prioritise cleaning alongside any additional household tasks
- Occasionally letting the family’s two small dogs outside
- Working discreetly and independently, with excellent attention to detail
- Providing reliable, consistent housekeeping support as part of a long-term arrangement
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proficient level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
- DBS Check
