Job Overview:
Perfect Household Staff is proud to present a wonderful new opportunity for an experienced and professional Live-in Housekeeper to support a warm, social, and active family of five based in the charming village of Meriden, near Coventry. The household comprises two principals—one of whom works from home—and three children, though typically only three people are in residence at any given time. Two adult children visit on occasion. The family travels frequently, particularly during the winter months, which allows ample time for deep cleaning and household maintenance.
The principals enjoy entertaining and value a Housekeeper who is both flexible and well-organised to assist in preparing the home for gatherings, setting up, and serving food and drinks when required. The household includes a very friendly dog, who will require daily walks and general care. A car is provided for occasional duties such as grocery shopping and picking up family members from the airport or train station, so a valid driving licence is essential. Cleaning is carried out using non-toxic, non-bleach products in accordance with the family’s preferences. The home itself is spacious, though not all rooms are used constantly, allowing for a structured and steady workload. Uniform will be provided when the principals are entertaining.
This is a fantastic full-time live-in position for a dependable and meticulous Housekeeper who is discreet, self-motivated, and enjoys contributing to the smooth running of a private household. Responsibilities will include daily housekeeping, deep cleaning while the principals are travelling, laundry and wardrobe management, and some light cooking if required. Weekend work may occasionally be needed, with time off provided during the week in lieu.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper:
- General daily housekeeping: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and maintaining all rooms to high standards
- Deep cleaning during periods when the family is travelling
- Laundry and ironing; wardrobe management including seasonal rotation
- Using non-toxic, bleach-free cleaning products in accordance with household policy
- Feeding and walking the family dog; light pet care as required
- Running errands including grocery shopping (car provided)
- Airport and station pick-ups
- Assistance with entertaining, including setting up and serving food and drinks
- Occasional light cooking as needed
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper job:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
- Driving license
- Conversational English
