Working as a housekeeper within a private residence requires excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail, and a pro-active approach to household management. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning the occupied areas of the property, including the kitchen and living spaces, maintaining household supplies, and ensuring the property remains tidy and comfortable for the principals at all times. Laundry care and hoovering will also form an important part of the role. For candidates interested in the temporary live-in arrangement, light assistance with meal preparation, such as peeling vegetables, will also be required. The housekeeper will additionally coordinate with the gardener responsible for the outdoor swimming pool and grounds maintenance, ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.

Working Days: Five days a week on weekdays
Working Hours: 20 hours a week for the live-out option, from 9:00 to 13:00; 35 hours a week for the live-in option, from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00

The principals provide a separate bedroom with bathroom en-suite situated on the ground floor of the property, offering privacy and convenience. Please note that the live-in option is available until the end of July, after which the position will continue on a live-out basis only.
Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General cleaning and maintaining the property to a high standard.
- Hoovering, dusting, polishing, and caring for household surfaces.
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and living areas.
- Laundry care and ensuring clothing and household linens are well-organised.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of household supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
- Organising household spaces and ensuring the home remains tidy and welcoming.
- Coordinating with the gardener responsible for the swimming pool and outdoor maintenance.
- Providing light assistance with meal preparation for the live-in arrangement.
- Demonstrating discretion, reliability, and professionalism within a private household environment.
- Maintaining excellent communication with the principals and proactively assisting with the smooth running of the home.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
