PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER
ESHER | SURREY | GB
Salary: £20 gross per hour
A welcoming private household based in Surrey is searching for a permanent part-time live-out Housekeeper to help maintain an exceptionally well-kept family residence.
The property is situated in an attractive and established residential area of Surrey and offers a calm, comfortable, and well-maintained working environment. Although the residence is spacious and arranged across several storeys, a number of areas are used only occasionally, allowing the Housekeeper to concentrate primarily on the principal living spaces while hoovering and dusting lesser-used rooms once per month.
The principal is seeking a stable Housekeeper who will take responsibility for general cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, household laundry, ironing, bed-linen changes, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, internal windows, and everyday household organisation. Experience in working with different wood surfaces will be a bonus.
The family home is currently kept to a good standard as there is a housekeeper employed by the family who will unfortunately be leaving them by September for a live in position. The employer prefers for the standard cleaning tasks to be completed to a good standard and not to be rushed.
The household already has a routine in place and therefore you will have an introductory period during which the current housekeeper and the employer will help you to understand the standard cleaning routines. We are however looking for a proactive candidate who has good initiative, who is organised and discreet.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Housekeeper seeking a stable, long-term part-time position within a beautifully maintained Surrey home, where careful work, reliability, discretion, and attention to detail will be genuinely valued. There is also a large dog and several cats living in the property and due to this, we can only accept candidates who are comfortable in working with dogs and have no cat/dog allergies.
Only applicants with a valid right to work in the United Kingdom and strong checkable references will be considered for this position.
