Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional, organised, and flexible Housekeeper to join a private household based in Surrey, between Coldharbour and the picturesque village of Shere. The household comprises two busy working principals who divide their time between multiple residences and require a reliable individual to maintain their home to a consistently high standard. The role also incorporates light PA-style responsibilities, including assisting with household organisation, liaising with tradespeople, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
This is a varied position suited to a proactive and communicative professional who can work with discretion and take ownership of their duties.
This is a permanent, part-time, live-out role set across three working days per week. The position is based in a countryside location in Surrey, with two properties situated approximately 20 minutes apart, therefore a driving licence and own car are essential. The role is clearly structured, with the main focus placed on the property where the principals are residing, while the second property requires only periodic checks and general oversight rather than ongoing housekeeping. This ensures a manageable workload within the agreed hours, combining hands-on housekeeping with light organisational support.
Working as a Housekeeper in this household involves maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within the main residence, including general cleaning, laundry and ironing, bed changing, basic wardrobe care, and kitchen organisation. In addition, the role includes light PA-style duties such as managing deliveries, liaising with contractors, and assisting with household logistics, including occasional support with a house move. The second property requires only routine visits to ensure it remains secure, well-maintained, and ready for use, rather than continuous cleaning. The role also includes preparing the home for occasional visits from family and guests, contributing to the overall smooth running of both properties.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation within the main residence, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and bed changing
- Keeping the home organised, tidy, and running smoothly on a day-to-day basis
- Assisting with light PA-style tasks, including liaising with tradespeople and supporting household organisation
- Preparing the home for occasional visits from family and guests
- Supporting with household-related tasks such as minor organisation or house move assistance when required
- Carrying out routine checks of the second property to ensure it remains secure and well-maintained
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proficient level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Own car is essential
