The successful candidate will work as part of a team with another housekeeper, ensuring the smooth running of a busy home.

- Working Days: Monday – Friday (with flexibility for weekends, evenings, and bank holidays)
- Working Hours: 30.5 hours per week

The housekeeper will be responsible for all hands-on housekeeping duties, including deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and care for fine furnishings, antiques, and silverware. Additional tasks include preparing guest rooms, organising clothing for travel, packing/unpacking for family trips, and managing household errands. Maintaining a well-kept, tidy, and guest-ready home is essential.
Main Duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Ensure the home is well-maintained, organised, and running smoothly
- Perform high-standard cleaning throughout the property
- Wash, iron, and care for delicate fabrics, including clothing and linens
- Polish and maintain household valuables such as antiques and silverware
- Prepare the home for guests, ensuring rooms are clean and presentable
- Assist with dinner parties and household events
- Coordinate with external service providers, such as gardeners and maintenance workers
- Monitor household repairs and ensure property security
- Work closely with another housekeeper to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements for the Part-Time Housekeeper Job:
- 3+ years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
- Excellent checkable references
- Must ensure no pet hair on work clothing due to allergies in the household
- Conversational English
- Valid UK working permit
