The ideal candidate for this part-time housekeeper position in Goring Heath is someone who demonstrates exceptional organisation, flexibility, and a proactive attitude. With an estimated 15 hours of work per week, ideally spread across Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, the candidate should be able to manage their time effectively to complete all necessary tasks, including general cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management within a two-floor, five-bedroom residence with a patio.

This role is best suited for an experienced housekeeper who enjoys working in a family- oriented environment and is comfortable with occasional pet care. While the primary responsibility for the dogs rests with the family, the housekeeper should be willing to step in to walk the dogs when needed and should feel at ease around animals, particularly the family's friendly golden retriever puppy and white husky.

The family values discretion, respect, and friendliness. The housekeeper should be comfortable working in a home where both parents occasionally work from home and should know how to carry out their duties without disrupting the household’s daily routines, especially during work meetings.

Cooking is an occasional requirement, with the expectation of preparing simple meals that can be reheated later, approximately twice a month. The ideal candidate will also have a keen eye for detail and an ability to spot areas of the home that might need extra attention, going beyond the basic task list to ensure the home is always well-maintained and organised. 

A permanent placement is offered, following a successful trial period. The position does not require a formal uniform, but appropriate, professional attire is expected. The housekeeper will occasionally interact with the family's nanny and other staff, so teamwork and clear communication are essential.
