Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a long-term, full-time Housekeeper opportunity for a professional seeking stability and future career progression within a respectful private household in London. This role involves the management of two private residences located in Victoria and Ealing, offering a structured and well-balanced daily routine.
The working day will typically begin at the apartment in Victoria, a well-presented multi-level residence with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Approximately three hours will be spent here each morning, focusing on light daily housekeeping and preparing simple, healthy breakfast and lunch. Cooking requirements are straightforward and involve preparing fresh meals or ingredients that can be easily reheated. The second half of the day will be spent at the larger family home in Ealing, a five-bedroom house arranged over three floors. This property requires the main share of attention, where the Housekeeper will carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organised, and comfortable environment. Cooking here will be occasional and remains simple in nature.
The role is based on a Monday to Friday schedule, working up to eight to nine hours per day, with an early start preferred in order to allow for a structured day and free evenings. The two properties are located approximately 30 minutes apart by car, and travel expenses will be covered. A driver with their own car is highly preferred for convenience, although driving duties will remain occasional.
Responsibilities will focus on classic housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, hoovering, dusting, laundry, bed making, dishwashing, and maintaining overall household organisation across both residences. Light pet care will be required for a friendly and low-maintenance cat, involving feeding and general supervision. Occasional errands such as grocery shopping may also be requested.
The client is seeking a collaborative, reliable, and professional individual who is comfortable working across two properties and is looking for a long-term position. This is a non-formal household with a practical and hands-on approach, offering a positive working environment.
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary dependent on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate. The role can be offered on a self-employed basis (preferred) or with an employment contract. The package includes paid annual leave and bank holidays, as well as a discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%.
There is a genuine opportunity for development within this role. Following a successful first year, the position may evolve into a live-in arrangement if mutually agreed. As the household continues to grow, there is also clear potential for the role to progress into a more senior House Manager position, making this an excellent long-term career opportunity within a private household.

Live out Housekeeper duties may include:
- Carrying out classical housekeeping duties across both residences, maintaining high standards throughout
- Cleaning, hoovering, dusting, and general upkeep of all rooms
- Laundry and ironing, including care of clothes and household linens
- Preparing simple breakfasts and light lunches at the Victoria property
- Keeping kitchens clean, tidy, and well organised
- Making beds and changing linen regularly
- Monitoring and restocking household supplies
- Feeding and checking on the family cat
- Completing occasional shopping and small errands
- Managing time efficiently between both homes
- Occasional driving for family needs, including airport drop-offs and collections
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum 3 years’ Housekeeper experience within private households
- Able to prepare simple, fresh and healthy home-style meals for the family
- Confident driver with a valid driving licence
- Fluent English communication skills
- Checkable references
- Valid UK working permit
- DBS check
