Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and upkeep of the residence, with a particular focus on high standards and attention to detail in all areas of the home.
- Performing deep cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitising all rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
- Managing laundry and ironing duties, ensuring that all clothing and household linens are impeccably cared for and maintained.
- Caring for delicate fabrics and materials, ensuring they are cleaned according to their specific requirements to preserve quality.
- Maintaining the kitchen, including cleaning surfaces, washing dishes, and ensuring appliances are kept in excellent condition.
- Preparing light meals and snacks, as requested, while maintaining an organised kitchen and pantry.
- Ensuring that all cleaning supplies and products are well-stocked, organising and replenishing as needed.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory for household goods and supplies, ensuring that everything is in optimal condition.
- Managing the care of fine furniture, antiques, and other high-value household items, ensuring their longevity through appropriate cleaning and maintenance practices.
- Assisting with the preparation of guest rooms, ensuring that all areas are fresh, tidy, and ready for guests with personalised touches.
- Managing rubbish and recycling, ensuring that waste is disposed of efficiently and according to local regulations.
- Reporting any issues or repairs needed around the household to the appropriate personnel or employer.
- Acting as a reliable and discreet presence in the household, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Minimal Requirements:
- Five or more years of professional housekeeping experience in private households.
- Proven ability to handle luxury furnishings, fine fabrics, and high-end interiors.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Discretion, professionalism, and excellent communication.
- UK working permit.
