PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER
BELGRAVIA | LONDON | GB
Salary: £18–£27 per hour

A welcoming household in Belgravia, London is searching for a part time housekeeper on a self employed basis to look after and maintain a modest size apartment.
The property is situated in an elegant and exceptionally well-connected area, renowned for its distinguished architecture, excellent amenities, cultural attractions and refined residential character. The residence forms part of a high-quality managed development with concierge support, providing a secure, comfortable and professionally maintained working environment.
The principal is seeking a capable all-round Housekeeper who will take responsibility for the cleaning and presentation of the property, household laundry, ironing, bed-linen changes, basic wardrobe organisation, dishwashing, stock monitoring and occasional local errands. Particular attention must be given to garment care. The successful housekeeper must understand fabric-care labels, delicate hand washing, appropriate washing temperatures, stain prevention and correct ironing methods.
This position would suit a careful and conscientious Housekeeper who takes pride in completing everyday duties properly rather than rushing through the routine. The principal values punctuality, diligence, discretion and clear communication and requires someone who will handle personal belongings and clothing with exceptional care.
The Housekeeper should be confident working independently and able to identify what needs attention without requiring detailed instruction during every visit. They will also be expected to monitor cleaning and laundry supplies, order suitable products when necessary and liaise appropriately with the building concierge regarding deliveries, collections and household services.
Hypoallergenic and environmentally considerate cleaning products are preferred. The successful housekeeper should therefore understand how to select appropriate products for different materials while protecting the apartment’s specialist surfaces and finishes.
The preferred schedule is approximately four to five hours per day across five or, ideally, six days per week. Working hours will generally begin from midday onwards, providing a consistent afternoon routine. The precise schedule and number of guaranteed weekly hours will be agreed with the successful candidate.
There are no routine cooking, childcare, pet-care or driving responsibilities. Occasional travel may potentially be discussed in the future and would be arranged separately by agreement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a locally based Housekeeper seeking a stable, long-term part time position within a friendly environment and a respectful household that values professionalism, consistency and careful attention to detail.
Only applicants with a valid right to work in the United Kingdom and who are happy to be self employed will be considered for this position.
