Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced and meticulous Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper to join a welcoming private household in the prestigious area of Belgravia, London. This permanent position is ideal for a professional housekeeper who takes genuine pride in maintaining exceptionally high housekeeping standards within a private residence.
The household consists of two principals residing in an elegant two-bedroom apartment in Belgravia, one of London's most desirable residential areas, with excellent transport links close to Sloane Square, Victoria, and Knightsbridge. The family also has a very friendly Husky and is looking for someone who is comfortable working in a home with a dog.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed cleaning and upkeep of the entire residence, including the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas. Particular attention to detail is required due to one member of the household having dust allergies; therefore, the Housekeeper should have excellent knowledge of thorough cleaning techniques, including careful dusting, attention to high surfaces, soft furnishings, and maintaining a consistently clean and healthy environment.
Additional responsibilities will include ironing, care of clothing and household linens, and ensuring wardrobes, cupboards, and living spaces remain tidy, organised, and well maintained. The ideal candidate will be reliable, discreet, proactive, punctual, and experienced, with a genuine eye for detail and a positive, easy-going approach. Main Duties of the Housekeeper:
- Carrying out detailed cleaning throughout the two-bedroom apartment.
- Maintaining the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and all living areas to an exceptionally high standard.
- Performing meticulous dusting using appropriate methods, including damp microfibre cleaning, with particular attention to allergy-sensitive areas.
- Cleaning high surfaces, soft furnishings, skirting boards, and other dust-prone areas.
- Vacuuming thoroughly and maintaining excellent overall cleanliness throughout the property.
- Regular ironing and careful care of clothing and household linens.
- Organising wardrobes, cupboards, drawers, and storage spaces.
- Monitoring household supplies and advising the principals when replenishment is required.
- Working around the family's friendly Husky confidently and comfortably.
- Maintaining complete discretion, professionalism, and respect for the family's privacy.
Requirements for this Housekeeper Job:
- Minimum of 3 years' professional housekeeping experience within private households.
- Excellent spoken English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high housekeeping standards.
- Positive, friendly, and easy-going personality.
- Honest, trustworthy, discreet, and punctual.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working around dogs.
- At least two excellent, checkable references.
