Job Overview:
Our agency has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join an informal family household located in the Bayswater area of London. The family consists of two principals and their children residing in a comfortable four-bedroom property arranged across four floors. The home is well-maintained, calm, and structured, and would suit a discreet, child-friendly, and reliable candidate seeking a stable part-time role.
The position involves two working days per week for a total of 18 hours (inclusive of lunch breaks). The preferred schedule is Mondays and Thursdays, with a start time of either 9:00 or 10:00. The household has no pets, does not require cooking, driving, or travel support, and operates without additional domestic staff. Whilst busy during school terms, the family often travels during holiday periods, which provides ideal downtime for deep cleaning and organisational tasks. They also entertain roughly once per month.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all general housekeeping duties including daily cleaning, dusting, hoovering, laundry management, and care of wood and marble surfaces. There is no ironing required, which is considered a significant advantage for applicants. Due to the size and vertical layout of the property, the candidate must be physically fit and comfortable working across multiple floors. The family are prepared to consider reimbursing transport costs for shortlisted candidates attending in-person interviews.
The role is to be undertaken on a self-employed basis.

- Organisation of household supplies
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and orderly home environment
Requirements for this Part -Time Housekeeper job:
- 3+ years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
