Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dependable housekeeper to join a welcoming private family residing in a spacious four-floor, 3000-feet property in Richmond, London. Richmond is one of the most desirable areas in South West London, renowned for its beautiful green spaces, including Richmond Park, charming riverside walks, and excellent quality of life. The family consists of two adults and two young children aged two and four years old. Although childcare is fully covered by a dedicated full-time nanny, the principals are looking for a housekeeper who is warm, respectful, and genuinely loves being around children.
The ideal housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the household to a high standard, ensuring that the family home remains organised, clean, and comfortable. This role requires a dependable professional with an eye for detail who takes pride in delivering excellent housekeeping services, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, grocery unpacking, and general household organisation. Cooking skills would be considered an advantage but are not essential, as the main focus of the role is maintaining the smooth running and presentation of the home.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleaning throughout the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, reception rooms, and other living areas.
- Performing regular tidying and organising of household spaces to ensure the property remains comfortable and well presented.
- Managing laundry, ironing, and care of garments, ensuring clothing and household linens are treated appropriately.
- Unpacking groceries and assisting with general household organisation.
- Monitoring household supplies and ensuring essential items are available when required.
- Assisting with general household tasks to support the smooth running of the residence.
- Preparing simple meals when required would be advantageous, although cooking is not an essential part of the position.
- Maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with the family, including being comfortable around young children.
- Working discreetly and professionally within a private family environment.
- Completing a DBS check as required for the position.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
