Perfect Household Staff are proud to be assisting a lovely informal family in Twickenham in their search for a reliable and hardworking part-time housekeeper. The family reside in a detached Victorian property arranged over three floors, comprising four bedrooms, three bathrooms and three reception rooms. Not all rooms are in constant use, but the property is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
There are two young children in the household, aged 1 and 3, and the family employ a full-time nanny. Whilst no childcare duties are required, the housekeeper must be child-friendly and comfortable working in a family environment. The family’s previous housekeeper was with them for several years and only left due to a personal family situation.
The family are seeking a non-smoking, energetic and physically fit individual with a can-do attitude, who is helpful, trustworthy and self-motivated. The position is self-employed and best suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining a pleasant, well-run home.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General cleaning of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen
- Polishing, hoovering, mopping, dusting and surface cleaning
- Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate garments
- Bed changing and linen care
- Unpacking online shopping
- Organisation of cupboards and household items
- Reporting low stock of cleaning or household supplies
- Working in coordination with a full-time nanny
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar role within a private household
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Fluency in English
- Eligible to work in the UK
