The principals are a single mother and her three children, aged 11, 16, and 17, who lead a busy and dynamic lifestyle. The mother travels frequently for business, therefore the household requires a trustworthy and friendly individual who is comfortable working independently while also being approachable and child-friendly.
The family owns a friendly, medium-sized Labrador. Castelnau is a desirable residential area in South West London, known for its leafy streets, proximity to the River Thames, and excellent local amenities, offering a pleasant and convenient working environment.
Working as a Housekeeper within a private household requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the home to impeccable standards, including thorough cleaning, laundry, and ironing. In addition, the role involves accepting deliveries and assisting with light household organisation. While cooking is not essential, it would be considered a bonus.

This is a live-out position located in a well-connected area of London, making it easily accessible by public transport and convenient for daily commuting.
Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a three-floor, five-bedroom property to a consistently high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising all areas.
• Managing laundry and ironing, ensuring garments are treated with care, properly organised, and maintained to an excellent finish.
• Organising wardrobes and household storage areas to ensure a tidy and well-structured environment.
• Accepting deliveries, checking items, and storing them appropriately within the home.
• Walking and caring for one medium-sized Labrador, ensuring the pet’s wellbeing and regular exercise.
• Monitoring and replenishing household supplies as needed.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household through a pro-active and organised approach.
• Maintaining a friendly, professional, and child-friendly manner when interacting with the children.
• Ensuring all areas of the home remain tidy, welcoming, and well-presented at all times.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
• Two excellent checkable references
• Conversational English
• UK working permit
