Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent temporary opportunity for a professional and meticulous housekeeper to assist a gentleman residing in a beautiful two-storey, four-bedroom property in Paddington, London. Paddington is one of London’s most desirable and well-connected residential areas, renowned for its elegant architecture, excellent amenities, and convenient transport links throughout the capital. The principal is currently preparing the property for sale and is seeking a highly detail-oriented and flexible housekeeper who can ensure the home is presented to an exceptional standard for prospective buyers. This role would suit a professional who takes genuine pride in their work and enjoys creating immaculate and welcoming living spaces.
Working as a professional housekeeper within this household will involve preparing the property for viewings and maintaining the home in pristine condition throughout the sales process. Duties will include detailed cleaning, presentation of the rooms, care of wooden flooring and carpets, and ensuring the property remains fresh, organised, and visually appealing before demonstrations to prospective buyers. Laundry duties may also be required. The successful candidate should possess an excellent eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently and independently within a short-term assignment.
This position is offered on a live-out basis and is exceptionally easy to commute to, with Paddington benefiting from excellent public transport connections including Underground services, rail links, and bus routes. The property is highly accessible for professionals travelling from various parts of London.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Deep cleaning and maintaining the property to an immaculate standard.
- Preparing the house for demonstrations and viewings with prospective buyers.
- Ensuring all rooms are tidy, organised, and visually appealing at all times.
- Caring for wooden floors and carpets using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sanitising all household areas.
- Laundry care and light linen management when required.
- Monitoring presentation details throughout the property to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Working efficiently and proactively to ensure the home is always ready for viewings.
- Demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail during the temporary assignment.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
