A professional housekeeper in this position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the apartment, ensuring all areas of the home are presented to a high standard. The role will include general cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, occasional shopping, light food preparation assistance such as chopping vegetables, and providing kind care for the two cats. The successful applicant will be organised, reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in a private household environment.

This is a live-out position in one of London’s most desirable central neighbourhoods. Marylebone is easily accessible by public transport, with excellent Underground, bus, and local transport connections, making the vacancy convenient for professional housekeepers commuting from across London.
Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the three-bedroom apartment to a consistently high standard.
- Carrying out regular cleaning duties throughout the property, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas.
- Managing laundry, ironing, and general garment care, ensuring clothing and household linens are handled carefully.
- Organising and maintaining household areas with excellent attention to detail.
- Assisting with occasional shopping requirements and running small household errands when required.
- Supporting with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and assisting with meal preparation.
- Providing gentle and attentive care for the two cats, including feeding and ensuring their wellbeing.
- Communicating professionally with the principals and adapting to the household’s needs with flexibility and initiative.
- Maintaining discretion, confidentiality, and respect for the privacy of the family at all times.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
