This is a permanent, live-out, part-time role based in Marylebone, London, offering approximately 15 working hours per week across three working days. The position is easily accessible by public transport and would suit a Housekeeper seeking structured hours within a central London location. Working as a Housekeeper within this household involves maintaining the overall cleanliness, presentation, and smooth day-to-day organisation of the flat while supporting the family with general household upkeep.
Duties include full cleaning, laundry and ironing, kitchen organisation, wardrobe management, and household tidiness, alongside occasional meal preparation and occasional ad hoc babysitting support as the role develops over time.
Working as a Housekeeper in this household requires a professional, self-sufficient, and organised approach with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. The successful Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the home remains consistently well-presented and efficiently organised while working around the family’s daily routine and newborn care schedule. The role also involves accepting and organising deliveries, maintaining delicate wooden floors appropriately, assisting occasionally with organising baby-related items, and supporting the smooth running of the household with discretion and initiative.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Scheduled deep cleaning of all household areas to a consistently high standard
- Full cleaning and upkeep of the three-bedroom flat including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
- Laundry, ironing, linen care, and basic wardrobe management
- Changing and rotating bed linen and towels
- Kitchen reset, organisation, and maintaining immaculate kitchen presentation
- General household organisation and maintaining tidy, well-presented living spaces
- Accepting, unpacking, and organising household deliveries and products
- Occasional organisation of baby-related items and nursery areas
- Careful maintenance and cleaning of wooden floors using appropriate cleaning methods
- Monitoring household supplies and maintaining organised storage areas
- Occasional preparation of simple meals when required
- Providing occasional ad hoc babysitting support as needed in the future
- Working independently, discreetly, and proactively within a busy family home
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proficient level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
- DBS Check
