PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER

SOUTH KENSINGTON | LONDON | GB

Salary: £20,800–£22,880 Gross per Year, depending on experience

A private household in the prestigious area of South Kensington is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their residence on a permanent, part-time, live-out basis from the end of October 2026.

The household consists of two principals who do not reside at the property on a daily basis and visit periodically. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the residence to a consistently high standard, including general cleaning, dusting, hoovering, laundry, ironing and household organisation. The role will also involve managing the practical day-to-day requirements of the household, including arranging dry cleaning when required, ordering or purchasing groceries at the principals' request, checking food supplies and removing expired items, as well as ordering cleaning products and other household essentials.

An existing cleaner is expected to remain for approximately one day per week, with the housekeeping responsibilities shared between the two professionals. The successful candidate will therefore work alongside the existing cleaner whilst taking responsibility for their own duties and ensuring the residence is consistently maintained to a high standard.

The principals are looking for a reliable, discreet and well-organised professional who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently. The position offers flexibility in the distribution of the 20-hour working week, which can be arranged across two to four days per week.

Our household staffing agency has been assisting professional housekeepers in finding the perfect domestic staff jobs for over a decade. We are one of the top boutique housekeeper agencies in the UK.
