Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a lovely opportunity for a professional, detail-oriented, and reliable part-time Housekeeper to join a well-maintained private household based near Holland Park Station, one of London’s most prestigious and desirable residential areas. The household consists of one Principal and operates to a high standard, valuing excellent communication, organisation, and a calm, respectful working relationship. The Principal is seeking a Housekeeper who takes pride in their work, maintains high cleaning standards, and is confident managing laundry and wardrobe care.
This is a flexible, long-term role suited to an experienced Housekeeper looking for stability and autonomy within a refined private home.
Holland Park is a highly sought-after area of West London, known for its elegant period properties, green open spaces, and excellent local amenities. This is a live-out position and is easily accessible by public transport, making it ideal for candidates commuting from across London. The household offers flexibility in working days and hours, allowing the successful candidate to tailor their schedule across one, two, or three days per week, by mutual agreement. It is a self-employment role with a standard holiday entitlement.
Working as a Housekeeper in this role offers a professional and well-structured working environment, focused on maintaining the property to a consistently high standard. The role centres around thorough daily and deep cleaning, high-quality laundry and ironing, tidying and organisation, and basic yet solid wardrobe management.
The household has two dogs, and while pet care is not expected as part of the role, occasional dog walking or assistance may be welcomed.

Working Hours: 15 hours per week (spread across agreed working days; start and finish times flexible)

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- General housekeeping and deep cleaning as required, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, and kitchen areas
- Maintaining a consistently tidy and organised home environment
- Laundry and ironing to a high standard, with attention to fabric care
- Basic yet well-managed wardrobe organisation
- Cleaning and maintaining special areas, including a home office
- Sweeping and keeping outside entrance areas, steps, and patio spaces neat and presentable
- Specialist care of household items, including silver polishing, marble surfaces, and antique furniture
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
