The family comprises a professional married couple and their 19-year-old child. With friendly and respectful principals who lead busy lives, this position is ideal for a discreet and reliable candidate who can work independently, show initiative, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the home in collaboration with the family’s PA.
Drayton Gardens is nestled in the heart of South Kensington, offering both charm and convenience. Surrounded by elegant architecture, boutique shops, and leafy garden squares, the area is renowned for its tranquillity and refined atmosphere. The property is easily accessible by public transport, with excellent links to the wider London area, making it a perfect live-out role for those based locally or within Greater London.
The family reside in a beautifully presented five-bedroom house where not all rooms are in daily use. The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the home to an immaculate standard, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and a welcoming environment at all times. In addition to daily housekeeping tasks, the successful candidate will prepare simple, wholesome meals and work harmoniously with the family’s personal assistant as part of a small, professional household team.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook:
- Daily general housekeeping and deep cleaning
- Laundry, ironing, and careful wardrobe organisation
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals for the family
- Ensuring all five bedrooms remain clean and presentable, including those not in frequent use
- Working closely and professionally with the family’s PA as part of the household team
- Demonstrating initiative, a hands-on approach, and a high level of discretion
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook job:
- 3 years of private Housekeeper/Cook experience
- 2 excellent and checkable references
- Conversational level of English
- UK working permit
