Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional, friendly and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper to join a welcoming private household in the highly sought-after area of Islington, North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property to an immaculate standard, ensuring all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and home office remain clean, organised and beautifully presented at all times. Duties will include comprehensive housekeeping, laundry and ironing, changing bed linen, wardrobe organisation, grocery shopping, collecting and dropping off dry cleaning, running local household errands and assisting with simple meal preparation following straightforward instructions provided by the principals. The role will also involve caring for two friendly Maine Coon cats, including cleaning litter trays, monitoring their wellbeing and spending time interacting and playing with them when required.
The family is seeking a personable, trustworthy and self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently, demonstrates excellent attention to detail and is comfortable using modern technology and smartphone applications when carrying out household tasks and local errands. This position would suit a candidate who appreciates working within a warm, informal household environment and who takes genuine pride in creating a clean, organised and welcoming home. The schedule offers flexibility across three to four weekdays, with approximately 12 hours per week, and working hours may be arranged between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, making it an attractive opportunity for an experienced housekeeper seeking a long-term position with a respectful and appreciative family.

Live out Housekeeper duties may include:
- Maintaining immaculate housekeeping standards throughout the apartment
- Cleaning and organising all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas and home office
- Managing laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- Changing bed linen and caring for household fabrics
- Running local household errands, including grocery shopping and dry-cleaning collection/drop-off
- Assisting with simple meal preparation as instructed by the principals
- Caring for two Maine Coon cats, including litter tray maintenance and daily wellbeing checks
- Providing companionship and interactive playtime for the cats when required
- Ensuring household supplies are replenished and organised
- Using smartphone applications and basic technology to assist with household tasks and local navigation
- Maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-presented home environment at all times
- Working independently whilst communicating effectively with the principals regarding household
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- 3 years of Housekeeper experience
- Fluent in English
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
- DBS check
