Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper to join a private residence located in Harringay, London. This is a long-term, permanent position within a well-maintained four-bedroom property.
The household is composed of a young couple who are expecting a baby in the near future. The family is seeking a proactive, trustworthy and detail-oriented Housekeeper who can maintain the home to a high standard whilst ensuring a safe, hygienic and non-toxic environment, particularly important due to the presence of a cat and an upcoming newborn.
The property features wooden flooring throughout, as well as a patio and garden area. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of appropriate cleaning methods for wooden surfaces and experience using non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning products wherever possible. This role will suit a professional Housekeeper who is organised, discreet and able to work independently.
Core duties include general housekeeping such as cleaning, dusting, hoovering, mopping, laundry, ironing and maintaining overall tidiness across the property. The role also includes light external upkeep, including patio tidying.

Main duties of the Housekeeper:
- Full housekeeping of a four-bedroom private residence
- General cleaning including dusting, hoovering and maintaining all living areas
- Care and maintenance of wooden flooring using appropriate methods and products
- Laundry duties including washing, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- Ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness and organisation
- Use of non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaning products wherever possible
- Light care of patio and garden areas to maintain overall presentation
- Working in a pet-friendly household and maintaining cleanliness with a long-haired cat
- Supporting a safe and hygienic environment in preparation for a newborn
Requirements for this Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- Valid UK work permit
- Ability to work on a self-employed basis
