Perfect Household Staff is pleased to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a private household in Parsons Green, London. This is a permanent, part-time, live-out position ideally suited to a dedicated housekeeping professional who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully organised and well-run home rather than simply carrying out routine cleaning tasks.
The household consists of two busy professionals who value discretion, reliability, and exceptionally high housekeeping standards. One of the principals travels regularly for work, and both lead demanding professional lives, meaning there will often be periods when the property is unoccupied and quiet. The home does not have children or pets, and the workload is steady, structured, and highly manageable for an organised professional who enjoys working independently.
The family is seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Housekeeper who can take full responsibility for the upkeep and presentation of the home with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be confident establishing routines, maintaining organisation systems, and ensuring the property remains consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
Particular importance is placed on laundry and garment care, including the laundering and ironing of shirts, delicate items, and quality clothing. The role will also involve wardrobe organisation, seasonal clothing rotation, household stock management, and occasional errands. The employers are committed to providing the tools required for the successful candidate to perform their role efficiently and are willing to purchase additional ironing equipment if required.
The family can offer flexibility regarding working days and are open to either a two-day or three-day schedule across Monday to Thursday, provided the total working hours remain approximately 15 hours per week. They are also willing to consider covering professional travel expenses for suitable candidates attending face-to-face interviews.

Main duties of the Housekeeper:
- Full housekeeping duties throughout the property
- Deep cleaning and maintaining exceptionally high household standards
- Laundry and ironing, including shirts, delicates, and quality garments
- Wardrobe organisation and seasonal clothing rotation
- Bed making and changing bed linen
- Maintaining a consistently tidy, organised, and presentable home
- Managing household supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Restocking cleaning products, toiletries, and household essentials
- Receiving deliveries when required
- Running occasional household errands, including dry cleaning and post office visits
- Taking initiative to maintain household systems and organisation
Requirements for this Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a private household
- Good spoken English essential
- Strong laundry and garment care skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Proactive and organised approach to household management
- Trustworthy, discreet and respectful of household privacy
- At least two excellent, checkable references
- Valid right to work in the UK
