A warm and busy private family based in Central London are seeking an experienced, reliable, and child-friendly Part-Time Housekeeper to join their household. The family comprises two principals and five children ranging in age from 2 to 11 years old, with a new arrival expected imminently — making this a wonderfully lively, full, and family-centred home. The family have previous experience working with private housekeeping professionals and have a clear vision of the standard and calibre of person they are looking for. The property is a three-bedroom home with one bathroom and a guest WC on the ground floor, along with a kitchen, hallway, and upstairs landing. The property is well-connected and easily accessible by public transport, making the commute straightforward for candidates based across London.

Type: Part-Time | Live-Out
Working Days: Monday to Friday (with potential weekend flexibility subject to candidate availability)
Working Hours: Approximately 20–26 hours per week | Monday & Friday: 6 hours per day | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 4 hours per day (2 hours morning + 2 hours evening)

Employment Basis: Employed (Employment Contract) or Self-Employed basis — to be discussed
Duties Include:
- General daily housekeeping throughout the property, including thorough cleaning of all rooms, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchen, and communal areas to a consistently high standard
- Full laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothing and household linen with care and attention
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and beautifully presented home environment at all times, ensuring all areas are kept immaculate and well-organised
- Light kitchen assistance, including basic food preparation, peeling, and helping in the kitchen as and when required — no formal cooking experience is necessary, though an interest in food preparation is welcomed
- General household organisation, ensuring the home runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis
- Being comfortable and warm around five young children and a newborn, adapting to the pace and energy of a busy family household
- Providing light and occasional assistance to the principals when needed — including holding a baby or offering a helping hand when required
- Maintaining absolute discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times, in keeping with the standards expected within a private family home
Minimal Requirements:
- Three or more years of private Housekeeper experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational English
- Valid UK work permit
- DBS check
