PERMANENT PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER JOB

Salary: £23 - £25 gross per hour, based on qualifications
A private family based in Camden Town, North London, is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper to maintain their family home.
The household consists of two parents, two toddlers and a live-out nanny who assists with childcare throughout the week. The family also has a large and very friendly dog.
The property comprises four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Particular attention will be given to the lower ground floor, which includes the kitchen, living room, dining area and children's playroom, as these are the family's main living spaces.
The role will primarily involve general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, changing bed linen and towels, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the property. The successful professional will also be responsible for planning periodic deep-cleaning tasks and managing the household laundry efficiently.
The family is looking for someone proactive, organised and communicative, who can work independently, manage priorities and contribute ideas to improve household routines. There is also potential to take on additional household responsibilities and increase working hours by mutual agreement.

Working Days: Three days per week, preferably Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flexible for the right professional.
Working Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day (24 hours per week).
Salary: £23–£25 Gross per Hour.
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Main duties of the Housekeeper:
- General housekeeping, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and maintaining bathrooms and kitchen areas.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the family's main living spaces.
- Managing household laundry, including washing, drying, folding and ironing.
- Changing bed linen and towels on a weekly basis.
- Taking appropriate care of clothing and different fabrics.
- Planning and undertaking periodic deep-cleaning tasks throughout the property.
- Maintaining kitchen appliances and general household cleanliness.
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and communicating household requirements to the principals.
- Providing occasional additional household assistance, such as dry-cleaning collections, by agreement.
Requirements for this Housekeeper job:
- Previous private household housekeeping experience.
- Excellent laundry and ironing skills.
- Good knowledge of fabric care and cleaning methods.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
- Friendly and confident communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a household with two toddlers and a large, friendly dog.
- Ability to provide at least two verifiable references.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
