Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a professional and experienced part-time Housekeeper to join a warm, busy, and well-organied family household based in the sought-after area of Queen’s Park, London. The household consists of two adults and three children and operates in a lively yet structured environment, supported by an established domestic team.
The family are seeking an energetic, discreet, and detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organiation while working confidently alongside other staff. This is a long-term, live-out position offering stability, clear routines, and a positive working atmosphere, with the family due to relocate to Notting Hill in approximately six months.
Queen’s Park is a popular residential area in North West London, known for its village-like atmosphere, green spaces, excellent schools, and vibrant local amenities. The family are due to relocate to Notting Hill in approximately six months, offering continued employment in another highly desirable Central London location. Both areas are extremely well connected and easily accessible by public transport, making this a convenient live-out position for candidates commuting from surrounding areas. The role offers consistent afternoon hours and a clear, established routine within a well-run household, working alongside long-term household staff.
Working as a Housekeeper in this role offers a professional and collaborative environment, with all housekeeping duties shared alongside a long-term morning housekeeper. Responsibilities will include daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, as well as assisting with school pick-ups. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a household team, liaising closely with the nanny and the morning housekeeper. No cooking is required, and although the family has a friendly dog, there are no pet care duties. This is a formal employment position with full UK holiday entitlement.

Working Hours: 25 hours per week (1pm–6pm, with occasional flexibility by agreement)

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Daily housekeeping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
- Laundry and ironing, ensuring household items are well cared for
- Tidying and maintaining all living areas to a consistently high standard
- Assisting with school pick-ups as part of the afternoon routine
- Working collaboratively with the morning housekeeper and the family nanny
- Communicating effectively to ensure smooth day-to-day household operations
- Running tasks independently in a busy family environment with initiative and discretion
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 5 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Conversational level of English
- Legal right to work in the UK
