The principals are seeking a discreet, proactive, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to become a long-term part of their household. This is a permanent live-out role suited to a professional who takes pride in maintaining high housekeeping standards within a large private residence while working in a respectful and informal family environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and organisation of the property, ensuring all areas of the home remain clean, tidy, welcoming, and well maintained. The role will involve managing housekeeping routines across the main residence and annex, maintaining laundry and ironing to a high standard, and assisting with the smooth running of the household overall. Occasional light errands may be required, along with maintaining awareness of household maintenance matters and communicating proactively with the principals when necessary. The family values reliability, consistency, discretion, and a professional yet approachable attitude.
The position is offered on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The client is happy to provide formal employment with a contract, paid annual leave, and a competitive salary of up to £52,000 gross per annum for the right candidate

Live out Housekeeper duties may include:
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the residence
- Performing daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
- Caring for delicate materials including marble, stone, wood, and fine household finishes
- Managing laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation
- Changing bed linen and preparing guest bedrooms when required
- Organising household areas and maintaining overall presentation of the property
- Managing housekeeping schedules across the main house and annex
- Monitoring household supplies and reporting replenishment requirements
- Performing occasional deep cleaning tasks including kitchen appliances and storage areas
- Running occasional local errands such as dry-cleaning drop-offs and collections
- Maintaining awareness of any household maintenance issues and reporting them proactively
- Working respectfully around a friendly elderly family dog
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a large private household with professionalism and discretion
- Minimum 3 years’ Housekeeper experience within private households
- Fluent English communication skills
- Checkable references
- Valid UK working permit
- DBS check
