Perfect Household Staff are proud to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and reliable live-out housekeeper to join a respectful and welcoming family in Welwyn, North Hertfordshire. This is a permanent, part-time position within a peaceful and well-organised four-storey residence where only two adults reside full-time. While the family includes two grown-up children, they are rarely at home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the home to a high standard. Core duties will include general housekeeping, laundry and ironing, and scheduled floor care. Tasks follow a clear weekly routine to ensure the home remains consistently clean and well looked after.
The position offers a desirable work-life balance, with working hours set for Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. No cooking, pet care, or grocery shopping is required. The family are seeking a friendly, discreet and hardworking individual who is able to manage their responsibilities independently with care and attention to detail.
Applicants must be self-employed, hold a valid DBS certificate, and be able to commute to the property independently, with a driving licence required for ease of access. This is a lovely long-term opportunity within a kind and appreciative household, offering a calm and structured environment. The role is available for an immediate start.

Live Out Housekeeper Duties May Include:
- Performing general housekeeping duties to a high standard across a multi-storey family residence
- Carrying out regular cleaning tasks including hoovering, dusting, and surface care according to a set weekly schedule
- Managing all laundry and ironing, ensuring garments and household linens are cared for appropriately
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in key areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and communal spaces
- Ensuring the home remains tidy, well-presented and organised at all times
- Taking initiative in managing routine domestic tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Job:
- 3 years of Housekeeper experience
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
