Perfect Household Staff are pleased to present a new opportunity for an experienced and trustworthy part-time housekeeper to support a lovely married couple residing in Stoney Cross, Lyndhurst. The principals are in the process of moving into their new home and are now seeking a long-term addition to their household to help them maintain a comfortable and well-organised environment.
The residence is a spacious, well-appointed seven-bedroom property spread across three floors, featuring a variety of surfaces including marble, granite, quartz, tile, and carpet, as well as an indoor swimming pool. Although not all rooms are in constant use, the successful candidate will ensure that the home remains clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times. The household is informal, and there are no other members of staff employed.
Lyndhurst, known as the capital of the New Forest, offers a peaceful and picturesque setting surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet remains conveniently located for nearby towns and transport links. This position would suit a candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in their work.
The family own several small, well-behaved dogs who are very much part of the household. While no major pet care duties are required, the housekeeper will be expected to provide light assistance such as topping up their water bowls, ensuring their areas remain clean and tidy, and being comfortable with their presence. The dogs have their own dedicated room, which will form part of the daily cleaning routine.
The role involves general housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning, laundry, and ironing, as well as occasional errands such as collecting dry cleaning. As the principals travel several times a year, this will offer opportunities for deep cleaning and reorganisation during quieter periods. The couple are offering formal employment with standard holiday entitlement and are looking for someone reliable and conscientious to join them on a long-term basis.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Daily cleaning and tidying of all living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms
- Care of varied surfaces including marble, tile, carpet, granite, and quartz
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
- Maintenance of the indoor pool area
- Light pet care (refilling water bowls, cleaning the dogs’ room)
- Occasional errands, such as collecting dry cleaning
- Deep cleaning during periods when the principals are away
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- 3+ years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- Full UK driving licence and an access to a car
