Job Overview:
Perfect Household Staff is pleased to introduce a lovely part-time housekeeping role within a well-presented private family home located in Poole, Dorset. The property is a spacious and comfortable residence featuring four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living areas, a kitchen, lounge, office and utility room, offering an organised and pleasant working environment.
The household consists of two adults and three children, with two of the children staying at the property every other week. The family is seeking a professional, reliable and initiative-driven housekeeper who can confidently keep on top of the home. Duties will include general housekeeping, thorough cleaning and a considerable amount of ironing, therefore strong ironing skills are essential. There are no pets in the household and no special materials to manage. Cooking is not required, although it would be considered a bonus. The family entertains approximately once a fortnight, during which a slightly higher workload may be expected.
This is a live-out, permanent, part-time position, working two days per week, Monday and Friday, from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. Flexibility and a positive attitude are appreciated, and there may be scope to increase working hours in the future for the right person. A DBS certificate and driving experience would be advantageous but are not essential. The family values professionalism, discretion, good manners and trustworthiness. Holiday entitlement will be provided, and a self-employed housekeeper is preferred.
There may also be the opportunity to travel with the family during the summer.
The salary offered is £18–£20 per hour gross, depending on experience.

Live out Housekeeper duties may include:
- General cleaning of the house to a high standard
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Keeping the home tidy and organised
- Managing cleaning products
- Preparing the house for family entertaining
- Occasional simple cooking, if required
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- 3 years of Housekeeper experience
- Fluent in English
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
- DBS check
