Job Overview:
Perfect Household Staff is proud to present a superb opportunity for a full-time live-out Housekeeper to join a warm, professional family in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. The family are preparing to move into their newly built six-bedroom home in early September 2025, and they are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and experienced housekeeper to take full charge of maintaining the home to a high standard.
This is a permanent position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is confident managing a large, modern household, and who is looking to become a long-term, valued part of a welcoming family team. The family consists of two parents, their three children (ages 16, 10, and 6)—with the eldest attending boarding school—and one small, friendly Italian dog. The family’s informal yet respectful approach offers a supportive and pleasant working environment.
The newly built home is a two-storey, six-bedroom property with five bathrooms, a utility room, and an open-plan kitchen and living space. All children’s rooms include en-suite bathrooms, and there are additional unique spaces such as a dressing room and balcony, which will also require maintenance. The family is happy to walk the housekeeper through household care routines.

Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:
- Full housekeeping duties throughout a newly built property
- Daily cleaning, tidying, hoovering, dusting
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation; sorting by colours and fabrics
- Light family-style meal prep (especially for children after school)
- Unpacking groceries and keeping kitchen, utility and pantry areas well-stocked and tidy
- Errand running, occasional light shopping and supporting with deliveries
- Occasional support with family routines and presence around children (no direct care required)
- Light pet care
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in private households
- Excellent checkable references
- Warm, child-friendly, and professional demeanour
- Confident working in a large family home independently
- Valid DBS certificate
- Fluent English
- Driving licence preferred
