Perfect Household Staff is delighted to offer a part-time Housekeeper position for a lovely family based in Histon, Cambridgeshire. The family of five, consisting of two adults and three polite school-aged children, live in a warm and well-maintained home where they enjoy a calm and organised atmosphere. They are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to ensure their home is kept clean, fresh, and well presented at all times.
The duties are straightforward and focused purely on cleaning, with no cooking, childcare, or pet care required. The role involves maintaining cleanliness throughout the home, carrying out regular dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and managing household laundry and ironing as needed. The family has a few friendly cats, but no care for them is expected.
This is a steady part-time position working two days per week for a total of approximately eight hours. The preferred schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 or 1:00 p.m., although some flexibility may be offered for the right candidate. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional, self-motivated Housekeeper who takes pride in keeping a household running smoothly. Main duties of the Part Time Housekeeper:
- General cleaning of all rooms.
- Managing laundry.
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Wiping kitchen surfaces and cleaning appliances.
- Keeping cleaning supplies organised and stocked.
Requirements for The Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in private housekeeping roles
- Strong checkable references
- UK working permit
- DBS check
- Fluency in English
