Perfect Household Staff is pleased to offer a part-time Housekeeper position for a lovely family based in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire.
The family of five — two adults and three school-aged children — live in a comfortable two-storey home with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen, three reception rooms, and a study. They are looking for a reliable and thorough Housekeeper to help keep their home clean, tidy, and well organised. The family also has cats, though no pet care is required.
The position involves working two days per week, for a total of up to eight hours. The preferred hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 or 1:00 p.m. On the first day, the focus will be on cleaning the ground floor and doing laundry; on the second day, cleaning the upper floor and laundry as needed. Around one hour each day will be spent on laundry, with the remaining time devoted to cleaning.

Main duties of the Part Time Housekeeper:
- General cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
- Managing laundry — washing, drying, ironing, and putting clothes away.
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Changing bed linen and keeping bedrooms tidy.
- Wiping kitchen surfaces and cleaning appliances.
- Keeping cleaning supplies organised and stocked.
Requirements for The Part-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in private cooking roles
- Strong checkable references
- UK working permit
- DBS check
- Fluency in English
