Due to the countryside location, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle will be essential for this position.
We are seeking an energetic and pet-friendly housekeeper who takes pride in keeping a home clean, organised, and welcoming. The role involves general housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home. Laundry duties will primarily focus on washing, ironing, and ensuring clothes and linens are neatly maintained.
Additionally, the housekeeper will be responsible for running errands, grocery shopping, and caring for the home’s delicate wooden surfaces. The family has two dogs—a Labrador and a Terrier—so a candidate comfortable with pets is essential.
Job Details:
- Working Days: 3 days per week
- Working Hours: 12 hours per week
- Start Date: 25th April
- Requirements: 3+ years experience, valid UK work rights, self-employed status
Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Regular cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Ensuring bathrooms and kitchen are kept hygienic and well-maintained
- Cleaning and maintaining wooden surfaces to preserve their quality
- Tidying and organising living spaces and bedrooms
- Laundry management, including washing, ironing, and changing bed linens
- Running errands and grocery shopping to keep the household well-stocked
- Pet care, including walking and feeding two friendly dogs (Labrador & Terrier)
- Maintaining an organised and welcoming environment
