PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER
MAIDENHEAD | BERKSHIRE | GB
Salary: £22–£27 per hour

A welcoming family household based in Maidenhead, Berkshire is searching for an experienced, highly organised and personable Housekeeper on a self-employed basis to help run a busy family home.
The property is a spacious family home set within a pleasant, leafy residential part of Maidenhead, offering excellent local amenities alongside a peaceful, green setting. The home is arranged over three floors with generous living space and grounds, with other areas maintained separately, and some home adjustments planned for the future.
The family is seeking a capable all-round Housekeeper who will take responsibility for general cleaning, tidying, and organisation throughout the home, alongside laundry and ironing, wardrobe support, pet feeding and local errands such as post-office visits, returns, and dry-cleaning collection. Some light oversight of visiting contractors and household service providers, such as window cleaners, is also expected from time to time.
This position would suit a proactive, efficient Housekeeper who takes real initiative and is comfortable prioritising a varied workload independently. Two dogs and three cats are part of the household, so feeding and keeping litter trays clean form part of the role, and the successful Housekeeper should be comfortable and confident around animals.
Two young children live in the household, supported by their own Nanny, so no childcare duties are required; the Housekeeper will simply need to work considerately around the children's sleep times. There are no formal entertaining duties as standard, though some basic cooking or help with occasional family meals and small gatherings would be a welcome bonus rather than a requirement.
The preferred schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday, approximately 15 to 18 hours per week. Own transport is strongly preferred given the property's location, and on-site parking is available.
This is a good opportunity for a reliable, detail-focused Housekeeper seeking a stable, long-term part-time position within a friendly, down-to-earth household that values efficiency, discretion and genuine initiative.
Only applicants with a valid right to work in the United Kingdom will be considered for this position.
