In the House Manager role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functioning of a high-profile estate, ensuring that every task is handled with precision and that the family’s requirements are met seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily operations of the household, ensuring all aspects are well-maintained and organised.
- Ensuring the smooth daily operation of the estate by managing all logistical and organisational aspects of the household.
- Directing and mentoring a team of staff, including chefs, cleaners, and personal assistants, fostering a cooperative and high-performing team environment.
- Developing and overseeing household budgets, managing regular financial reports, and ensuring cost-efficient solutions for all household expenditures.
- Coordinating preventative maintenance schedules for the estate and managing external contractors to ensure high standards of upkeep and renovation.
- Liaising directly with the family, ensuring clear communication regarding preferences, upcoming needs, and bespoke requirements for all household matters.
- Implementing inventory management systems for household goods, including regular stock checks and prompt reordering of necessary items.
- Curating and executing family events and social gatherings, from intimate dinners to formal functions, ensuring attention to every detail and flawless delivery.
- Designing and overseeing the property’s security plan, working with security specialists to ensure the safety and privacy of the family, especially during travel or events.
- Managing travel arrangements for the family, including private transportation, itinerary planning, and ensuring all aspects of family trips run smoothly.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining household technology systems, including home automation, Wi-Fi, and entertainment systems, ensuring everything functions seamlessly.
- Managing all aspects of vehicle care, including scheduling regular maintenance, arranging for cleaning and detailing, and ensuring timely servicing.
- Planning and executing large-scale household projects, such as landscaping redesigns, refurbishments, or energy-efficient upgrades.
Minimal Requirements:
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Private House Manager or Estate Manager, with a proven record in luxury property management.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, delivering excellence in all aspects of household operations.
- At least two outstanding, checkable references from previous employers in similar roles.
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills and an understanding of the discretion required in this role.
- Valid UK working permit required.
