Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a rare and highly appealing opportunity for a live-in Domestic Couple to join a warm and welcoming private household located in the picturesque Dorset countryside. This is a part-time, live-in position best suited to a trustworthy, self-sufficient and proactive couple seeking a peaceful lifestyle in exchange for accommodation and bills.

The property is located approximately 30 minutes' walk (5 minutes’ drive) from the charming town of Wareham, with easy access to surrounding areas including Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth. The couple will be provided with a fully private, self-contained one-bedroom apartment situated on the same grounds as the main residence but entirely separate, with its own entrance. The flat includes a double bedroom, shower room, and an open-plan kitchen/living room with a sofa, dining table and television. All utility bills are covered by the employer. 

The role requires only 12 hours of work from each person per week, with the remaining days free to take up additional part-time work locally or/and enjoy the surrounding countryside if desired. This flexibility allows for ample time to pursue additional employment in the surrounding area, where there may be further part-time or seasonal opportunities available. A driving licence and personal vehicle are essential due to the semi-rural location of the property.

As a Domestic Couple, you will work collaboratively to support the smooth running of the household and its outdoor spaces. The responsibilities include general housekeeping, some gardening, and occasional pet care, with seasonal outdoor maintenance, including redecoration, and basic handyman tasks as required.

The Client is happy to offer paid employment on a daily rate for the first month in order to assist with maintenance work required at the property, which will entail preparation and repainting/re-oiling of external woodwork.

Main duties of the Part-Time Domestic Couple:

• General housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, and ironing
• Light garden maintenance (e.g. mowing lawn, watering plants, seasonal tasks such as raking leaves or clearing debris)
• Occasional painting or light DIY tasks
• Occasional dog-sitting or pet supervision
• General outdoor upkeep including tidying and maintenance of a small pond

Requirements for this Part-Time Domestic Couple job:

• Three or more years of private live-in couple experience (preferred)
• Conversational level of English
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Full driving licence
